Is your “20 Minutes of Transformation” initiative on track?
We are already in the third month of the year; and just as easily as time flies, so do our good intentions. For this exact reason – the incredible “busy-ness” of our lives which can make us take the small things for granted – that we, at Congress last year, implemented our ‘20 Minutes of Transformation’ project for 2018. The initiative calls on farmers, their families and farming communities to rally together for 20 minutes each – 1 minute for each of Kwanalu’s 20 years of existence – to make a tangible difference to the lives of those in need in their local communities.
The date of 24th April 2018 – Kwanalu’s actual 20th birthday, has been set for each community’s project to be “off the ground”. This is a reminder to get your thinking caps on, if you haven’t done so already, and to come up with tangible ideas that will make a positive impact on the neediest people in your community. To those of you who already on track, we would love to hear about your initiatives to be able to share with others in order to inspire and motivate fellow farmers.
We will be sending out an email to the chair of each Farming Association with more information and a step-by-step action plan to assist you with getting your project underway.
