FMD Control Measures

Control measures relating to FMD were gazetted today (26 July 2024).  Urgent attention must be paid to the gazette which stipulates restrictions, prohibitions, documents required for movement of cattle, sheep, goats in certain areas and/or the whole country, and the declaration of disease management areas.

For KZN (i) The whole of Big Five Hlabisa Local Municipality; (ii) The whole of Mtubatuba Local Municipality; (iii) The whole of Nongoma Local Municipality; (iv) The whole of the Ulundi Local Municipality; (v) The whole of Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park.
