Eskom Rural tariffs

Since 1 April 2025, Eskom has implemented key changes to its rural tariffs (including Ruraflex, Ruraflex Gen, Nightsave Rural, Landrate, and Landlight). These updates are designed to create a more transparent view of your

electricity costs, helping you manage consumption and save money. These specific tariff changes include updating tariffs with a cost of supply study, unbundling energy charges, changing time-of-use periods and ratios, and adding a service charge per/account to per/POD (Point of Delivery).
