- New Regulations released 15 June 2021 – Adjusted Alert level 3
New regulations relating to the national COVID-19 disaster declared on 15 March 2020 extended by numerous gazettes and amended by Gazette no 44715 dated 15 June 2021 now provides for an adjusted alert level 3. The adjusted alert level 3 will apply nationally from 16 June 2021.

Amongst other the latest regulations refer to:
- application of alert level
- notification by district municipalities
- compliance officers
- movement of persons
- permit template available on the Kwanalu website
- curfew 22h00 until 04h00 except where a person has been granted a permit
REMINDER – a permit is required to perform a service other than a service related to an activity listed under Table 2
- mandatory protocols when in a public place
- opening and closure of schools
- attendance of funerals

- eviction and demolition of places of residence

- places and premises closed to the public
